Renowned media personality, Martins Vincent Otse, widely acknowledged by his moniker Verydarkman (VDM), has taken to the public domain to voice a grievance against the prominent comedian, Sabinus, alleging a blatant breach of contract.
In a compelling video clip, VDM passionately lambasted Sabinus for accepting payment for a scheduled show while being fully aware of his inability to attend, resorting to a refund only at the eleventh hour. The media personality revealed a personal sacrifice he made, choosing to forego a coveted opportunity to feature in the music video for the remix of Phyno and Burna Boy’s hit track, “Do I,” to rescue event organizers from potential mob action triggered by Sabinus’s last-minute withdrawal.
In his distinctive style, Verydarkman presented compelling evidence supporting the accusations against Sabinus, underscoring that this incident isn’t the first instance of the skit maker leaving individuals in the lurch for his personal gain.
Adding a layer of intrigue to the unfolding drama, VDM disclosed how Sabinus inexplicably declined to take a picture with him, leaving the audience to ponder the mysterious circumstances surrounding this refusal.
As a conscientious activist, Verydarkman issued a cautionary note to Sabinus, urging him to treat people with greater consideration and emphasizing the unpredictable nature of the future. This public call-out not only sheds light on the alleged contractual transgressions but also serves as a broader commentary on professionalism, integrity, and interpersonal relations within the entertainment industry.
Captioning the video, he wrote:
