The family of the late actor Junior Pope has addressed concerns surrounding the viral funeral posters, particularly the absence of the designation “husband.” The family recently unveiled the funeral plans for the beloved actor, scheduling his burial for May 17th, 2024, in his native Enugu state.

Sharp-eyed fans took note of the omission of the term “husband” on the obituary poster, sparking speculation and curiosity. Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele before his untimely passing, and the couple shared three sons, despite ongoing rumors of divorce.

In response to the circulating burial posters, Junior’s family took to Instagram to clarify that they had not authorized the publication of these posters. They acknowledged the need for corrections and requested the public’s assistance in removing the viral burial posters from circulation. This statement aimed to address any confusion or misinformation surrounding the funeral arrangements and to ensure that Junior Pope’s memory is honored with accuracy and respect.

The statement reads;

“Dear Junior Pope Fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope displayed needs some corrections. The family has requested your assistance in bringing it down. They mentioned that the revised version will be released soon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”.
