“As the boys don dey go crazy, make we go crazy too” – Teni challenges Ayra Starr, Simi, Tiwa Savage and other female artistes (Video)

The ongoing saga in the Nigerian music industry took a dramatic turn when Afrobeat singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni Entertainer, issued a challenge to her female colleagues for a physical altercation.

Tensions escalated on social media following a viral video shared by award-winning artist Wizkid, depicting Davido in tears and begging. Wizkid didn’t stop there; he proceeded to insult Davido and Don Jazzy, referring to the latter as a mere influencer and targeting his entire Mavins record label signees.

Wizkid’s provocative post triggered widespread outrage and heated discussions across social media platforms, with many expressing anger and disappointment in his actions. Notably, reports emerged that Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid following the altercation.

In the midst of the chaos, Teni took to her own page to lament the prevalence of beef and fights among Nigerian male artistes. Her comments underscored the gender disparity in how conflicts are handled within the industry, highlighting the need for a more positive and harmonious environment.

As tensions continue to simmer, Teni’s call for female solidarity and her critique of male-dominated conflicts add a thought-provoking dimension to the ongoing discourse surrounding interpersonal dynamics within the Nigerian music scene.

The ‘Malaika’ hit maker, then called on Ayra Starr, Simi, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, amongst other female singers as she summoned them for a physical fight instead of throwing shades online just like the male artistes.

According to Teni, it will be easy for her to beat up Ayra Starr, who had just linked up with Barbadian singer, Rihanna.

In her words, “Shey we no fit beef ourselves ni make we beat ourselves if we catch ourselves for outside. Me and Ayra Starr. I will beat Ayra Starr. Who I fit fight. Physical fight ooo, no be the one we go dey tell ourselves, ‘*** you bitch’.”

“The fight that we will see ourselves and throw punches at each other. Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Simi (I go tell Adekunle Gold to stay one side).

“You know say as they boys don dey go crazy, make we go crazy too. Make we see ourselves outside, make we tell our MOPO to stand one side. We should throw punches and head butts ourselves”.
